This publication of National Accounts of Tanzania Mainland 2001 - 2013 is the sixth in the series of publications with GDP at 2001 prices. It contains time series of main aggregates at current and constant prices from 2001 to 2013.

GDP in real terms grew by 7.0 percent in 2013 compared to 6.9 percent in 2012. The highest growth rate of 7.8 percent was recorded in 2004 and lowest growth rate of 6.0 percent was recorded in 2009.

In 2013, the agriculture and fishing activities grew by 4.2 percent the same growth as that of 2012. The increase was due to good weather and well distributed rainfall in the agricultural seasons.
