Tanzania in Figures 2014 is the 2015 edition which provides important demographic and social-economic data, as well as

statistical indicators of the United Republic of Tanzania for the year 2014.

This booklet, contains information from various statistical publications compiled by the National Bureau of Statistics

(NBS), Sector Ministries, Government Departments and Agencies (MDAs).The booklet, therefore serves as a brief and

comprehensive reference for such statistical information.

In this booklet data in some tables refer only to surveys undertaken, most of them follow certain periodicity and therefore

data for some years in the tables are not shown where recent surveys have not been taken.
