Annual Headline Inflation Rates for Some Neighbouring Countries;January – July, 2015

Table 3 above shows that, Annual Headline Inflation Rate for the three selected East African Community (EAC) Member States of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda have shown 
similar pattern since January, 2015 with Kenya having the highest Inflation rates, followed by Tanzania and Uganda. Annual Headline Inflation Rate for the month of July, 2015 in Tanzania has 
increased to 6.4% from to 6.1% recorded in June, 2015. In Uganda, Annual Headline Inflation Rate for the month of July, 2015 has also increased to 5.4% in July, 2015 from 4.90% recorded 
in June, 2015. On the other hand, Annual Headline Inflation Rate in Kenya has decreased to 6.62% in July, 2015 from to 7.03% recorded in June, 2015.
