National Data Roadmap for Sustainable Developent Report - Lessons and Recommendations from 2016-2018

 

In August 2016 Tanzania Mainland convened a National Data Roadmap Stakeholders Meeting led by the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD), the World Bank (WB), Millennium Challenge Corporation – President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (MCC-PEPFAR) partnership and other partners in the United Republic of Tanzania. The workshop marked the commencement of Tanzania’s Sustainable Development Data Roadmap process; a process of fostering partnerships and collaborative efforts, and stakeholders’ engagements aimed at building the national foundation for enhancing availability, accessibility, use and impact of data for sustainable development.
