Tanzania in Figures booklet is the revised version from the previous Tanzania in Figures booklets. This booklet is an extraction of information from various statistical publications compiled by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Sector Ministries, Government Departments and Agencies (MDAs). These statistics give an indication of current social and economic trends in the country. Some of these latest figures are provisional and may be revised. Reference should be made to more detailed published sources and statistical data available at the NBS.
