The 2024 -25 Tanzania Integrated Household Budget Survey (IHBS 2024 -25)
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) is preparing to undertake the 2024-25 Tanzania Integrated Household Budget Survey (IHBS 2024-25). The IHBS 2024-25 will be implemented by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and the Office of the Chief Government Statistician (OCGS), Zanzibar in close collaboration with the Ministry of Finance (Mainland), the President’s Office, Finance and Planning (Zanzibar), The World Bank and Other Key Partners.
The main objective of the survey is to provide up-to-date estimates of socio-economic indicators to guide the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of socio-economic related programmes at both national and regional level.
