Annual Survey of Industrial Production (ASIP) Reports
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) conducts the Annual Survey of Industrial Production (ASIP). The broad objective of the survey is to generate relevant and updated industrial information that can be used to assess the contribution of industrial sector to the economy. Also, aimed at providing benchmark data for other subsequent surveys and analysis for planning, evidence-based policy formulation and decision-making purposes.
