The PPI for the fourth quarter of the year 2015 (October - December) recorded an increase from 111.6 points to 114.8 points.
The main drivers of the increase in price of the fourth Quarter of the year 2015 as shown in Table 2, were Mining of metal ores (44.3%), Manufacture of tobacco products (25.7%), Manufacture of chemical and chemical products (8.6%) and Manufacture of paper and paper products (6.5%).
On the other hand Manufacture of basic metals recorded the decreases of (-4.6 %) while Manufacture of rubber and plastics products (-0.8%) and Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (-0.7%) when compared with the third quarter of the year 2015.
