Trade Price Indices (TPI)

Trade Price Indices (TPI) are economic indicators used to measure the average change in prices of traded goods over time. These indices are essential for understanding trade dynamics and inflationary pressures within an economy. TPI are categorized into export price indices (XPI) and import price indices (MPI). XPI measures the change in prices of goods sold by a country to foreign buyers, while MPI measures the change in prices of goods purchased by a country from foreign sellers.
