Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey (TDHS)
The 2022 Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey and Malaria Indicator Survey (2022 TDHS-MIS) was implemented by the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and the Office of the Chief Government Statistician (OCGS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Tanzania Mainland and the Ministry of Health, Zanzibar in collaboration with responsible Ministry Department Agencies (MDAs) and Development Partners. ICF provided technical assistance through The DHS Program.
The main objective of the 2022 TDHS-MIS is to obtain current information on health to inform policies at global, regional, and national levels.
This report will provide valuable insights for policymakers, program managers, and other stakeholders, especially in the health sector, by utilizing evidence-based data.
