The Statistical Abstract is an annual publication which provide key statistical information including indicators useful for planning, policy making, researchers, academicians and all those who need statistical information for evidence-based planning policy formulation and decision making at all levels. The indicators presented in this publication are also crucial for monitoring and evaluation of National and International Development Goals. The concepts and definitions used in this publication are in line with international recommendations.
